Welome to the Knox Off Road Electric Car Club (KRCORCC)

The Knox Off Road Electric Car Club meets every first and third Sunday throughout the year to race off-road electric RC Cars. Anywhere from 10-40 competitors race once a fortnight on our purpose built track, enjoying the relaxing but hectic pace of club competition. We race from 10:30am until around 4:00pm and we cater for all types of electric off road buggies and stadium trucks for drivers of all skill levels. We have Ample Parking and exciting vantage points for spectator viewing so why not come down! Bring your kids, or better still bring a car!

All the information you need to get started with us can be found on our Info page, use the Navigation bar at the top of the page, or click here.

Our members are very welcoming and friendly, and guest racers will be warmly received. Currently, the classes included are 540 Johnson 2WD, 27T RB stock 2WD & 4WD, 27T Stock Truck, and 2WD/4WD Mod. Our members are varied in their interests, and the age group ranges from juniors to long time R/C veterans, so there is no shortage of people to help with friendly advice on getting the most out of your car.We also have members who develop their special interest groups, the current SIG projects are Peter with his Electric Half Eight cars and Antony with his Pre 1990 Vintage Electric racing. To veiw more on these SIG's or register your interest click here.

Race meet fees are $6.00 for both members and guests for a full club meeting, although non members do not have their points counted to our club championship. This helps the club cover track and event costs. If you would like to come and try racing, bring your buggy or stadium truck down for a meeting, as your first meeting is free. If you don't know what class your car might fall in to, don't be deterred, we will find an appropriate class to put you in while you get sorted out, so you can experience the thrill of off road model car racing.
